For the Board Intern position, Oikos is seeking motivated individuals eager to commit to our association. As a Board member, you will have the chance to choose from various roles in Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Community. The Oikos Board oversees all 12 projects, so by joining our team, you'll gain insight into the entire organization and contribute your ideas to its development. Furthermore, if you aspire to a leadership role, being part of the team will provide you with valuable experience working closely with the board and preparing for such positions.

Finance
Board Intern
Conducting in-depth macroeconomic research on market trends, financial policies, and sustainable finance practices. Collaborate with companies focused on sustainable finance and corporate social responsibility (CSR) to organize workshops, guest lectures, and networking events. Work with the School of Finance to integrate sustainability topics into club activities, ensuring alignment with academic programs and emerging trends in green finance. Assist with financial analysis and reporting, incorporating sustainability metrics such as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into budgeting and forecasting for club events. Help plan and execute sustainability-focused finance events like conferences, speaker panels, and workshops on topics such as green investing and impact finance.
Operations
Board Intern
Deal with IT platforms (GDrive, Monday.com, email Accounts, Slack,…) Support the board in the Events Support the projects in organizational and operational tasks Somewhat flexible depending on your skills and preferences
Legal
Board Intern
You will support the board and the projects in handling legal matters You will ensure that the organization remains compliant with all legal requirements You will help to manage internal processes related to contracts, human resources, and regulatory obligations
Community
Board Intern
You are responsible for co-organising oikos Community events with the community team and the Head of Community. These events include, on the one side, General Assemblies and Kick-off events, mandatory for all oikees, and on the other side Workshops and Get-Togethers, fun events that aim to bring our great community together. You are responsible for all the aspects of the event planing including sponsoring, internal communication, and collaborations with other associations and partners.
